Cold-Shoulder Chambray Dress

We took these photos on our way to our very first family vacation in June. Stay tuned for those vacation photos. I’ve been wanting to visit the Point Defiance Rose Garden for some time now but didn’t want to drive an hour to get there. This trip was the perfect time to stop by since it was on the way. The rose garden is beautiful. It’s a perfect place for photos. I highly recommend visiting it. It’s located by the Point Defiance zoo so you can combine your visit to the garden with the zoo. I’ve heard a lot of great things about the zoo so we’re definitely coming back to the visit it and check out the garden again.

Summer is in full swing in Seattle. It hasn’t rained for over 51 days now, crazy right? We broke the record. I’m definitely not complaining about it. This beautiful summer weather is perfect for wearing dresses. Dresses are my favorite fashion staple. It doesn’t take a lot of effort to style them. Plus they give you the instant feminine look. This cold-shoulder chambray dress is so sweet and adorable. I love the beautiful silhouette of this dress. The ruffle overlay is just so pretty. The tiered skirt with ruffled hem gives it a feminine feel to this dress. I’m wearing an extra small in petite. It’s currently on sale for under $27.00. This chambray version is sold out but you can get it in floral prints and black.

How gorgeous are these peonies in my bag? They’re from my garden. They were in full bloomed when we left for our vacation. It was a hot weekend so by the time we returned they were pretty much done. I wish the peony season lasts all summer long.

Thank you so much for visiting!

Romantic Bohemian Summer Dress

It’s no secret that I love maxi dresses. They’re comfortable and easy to style. I’ve been practically living in them this summer. I’m here to share another petite friendly piece that doesn’t require any alterations.  When you’re extra petite, it’s a challenge to find maxi dresses that fit. I have a few tricks for finding maxi dresses for petites. Check out my post here.

Let’s talk about how gorgeous this dress is. If you love the romantic bohemian style, this dress is for you. The full flowy skirt with tiered ruffles is my favorite part of the dress. The dress moves beautifully with every step I take. It’s such a fun dress to twirl around in. The flattering deep V-neckline and waist tie help balance the full skirt. This dress is perfect for so many different occasions like weddings, bridal showers and garden parties. I love everything about this dress but wish it’s made out of a lighter fabric. It’s pretty heavy for a summer dress. You probably won’t want to wear it on a hot day because you’ll be sweating.

Thank you so much for visiting.

We've been taking walks almost everyday trying to stay active. We have less than 2 weeks left until we meet our sweet baby. We're both getting pretty anxious and looking for any signs as to when he'll arrive. So far he hasn't given us any sign so the waiting game continues.

Hope you're having a wonderful weekend!

I always gravitate toward white every time I shop. I just love the the crisp clean look of white outfits. Although I’ve been trying to add more colors to my wardrobe, I couldn’t help myself but buy more white dresses and tops this Spring. What I love about this dress are the ruffled v-neck and flared cuff sleeve details. I wish it wasn’t so wrinkle-prone. I’m too lazy to iron. It’s unlined so a nude slip underneath is a must.

How cute are these ankle strap sandals? The tassel details on the back is just adorable. These sandals are comfortable to wear. Low heels are perfect since I have difficult time walking in high heels due to my sciatica pain.

Crinkly Off-the-Shoulder Romper

I wasn’t kidding when I said I’m obsessed with off-the-shoulder pieces. This is another favorite piece of mine. I bought this romper during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. It was love at first sight.

It’s lightweight and hangs off the body beautifully. The ruffle sleeves make this romper feminine and soft. It will transition nicely into Fall with a leather jacket and booties.

Thank you so much for stopping by!
