Custom Made Tweed Dress

I think my fellow petites can attest to the amount of money they’ve spent on alterations. I can do simple alterations like hemming my pants but it’s time consuming so I end up going to a tailor most of the time.  You can imagine my excitement when I learned about eShakti, a custom clothing company. No more alternations, yayy! eShakti allows their customer to personalize their garments according to their height, size and style preferences at an affordable price.

I was excited when eShakti reached out to me again for a collaboration (see my previous post here). I selected this beautiful tweed dress. I customized the length to hit right above my knees because it’s the best length for my petite frame. The original design hits the model right below her knees. I could have customized the neckline and sleeve but decided to keep them the way they were. My beautiful custom dress was delivered within 10-14 days. For reference, I’m wearing a size small. eShakti allows you to order your garment according to your measurements. Since I am not very good at taking measurements so I played it safe and ordered their standard size small. It worked out really well because the dress fits me like a glove. The dress is fully lined and machine washable. The petal cap sleeves are adorable. This dress is perfect for the office. I’ve gotten so many compliments from coworkers every time I wear it. I’ve also wore it to a date night with hubby. This exact dress isn’t available in tweed anymore but you can get in a fun animal print.

I was surprised to read mixed reviews about eShakti because my experience have always been great. Both dresses I own fit me perfectly and look better in person than in photos. Have you ordered from eShakti? If so, I’d love to hear about your experience.

Double layer Vest: This relaxed fit double layer vest is so easy to dress up or down. I kept it simple with a white blouse and denim shorts. Pair it with a simple dress for a more dress up look.

Multi Stripe Dress: How fun is this colorful stripe dress. The lightweight-ness and flowy-ness make it perfect for this warm weather and my belly. It has a cute razorback.

Bracelet: I always have trouble finding bracelets that fit my small wrist. This gold cuff fits me perfectly. The twisted rope like texture is so pretty.

Bag: I adore this gorgeous crossbody bag with braided tassels and gold hardware. The size is perfect for my petite frame. It’s pretty roomy inside to fit my cell phone, small wallet and lipstick.

Classic Tunic Shirt: This classic button tunic shirt is a staple piece every girl needs. It's great for a casual outing, put on a pair of skinny jeans and you're good to go. You can also wear it with a pencil skirt for the office.

I recently signed up for a monthly fashion subscription service with Le Tote. It’s like Netflix for fashion. Cost of the service is $59 per month. Le Tote provides Priority 2-3 day shipping both ways for free. You can cancel at anytime without cancellation fee. Your membership gives you unlimited totes.

You start with filling out a style profile and adding as many items as you like to your closet. Each box contains three clothing pieces and two accessories based on your style profile and closet selections. You can review the tote and swap out any items you don’t like before it ships. You can keep and wear the items for as long as you like. When you’re ready for your next tote, keep what you love and send the rest back in the prepaid return envelope. You don’t have to worry about cleaning them. Le Tote will take care of it for you. Le Tote will charge your credit card for the items you kept. You’ll get 20% to 50% off retail price for the items you kept.

I received my first tote last week and I’m so happy with all the pieces. The quality is even better than what I expected. I wish I discovered Le Tote sooner  because it's a perfect service for getting my maternity clothes since I didn't want to invest a lot of money on them.

Le Tote is offering all of you guys a 20% discount from now through 8/20/2016 with code DOREEN! Check it out because I know you’ll love it as much as I do.

You can’t go wrong with a wrap dress. It’s flattering on any body shape. Plus it’s so easy to style. I can’t get enough of this maxi wrap dress with a slit from Shein. I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it on their website. I love being able to adjust how tight the dress wraps around my waist. That’s an added bonus about this dress because I don’t have to worry about getting a larger size for my baby bump. The front slit is so flirty and sexy. I can show off my legs.

In case you’re wondering I’m wearing a size small. It’s beautifully made and quality of the dress feels so much more expensive for its price point. It’s currently on sale for less than $25. Shein has so many adorable dresses and rompers that I’m adding to my wish list. Be sure to check out their website.

I have less than 10 weeks to go. Jimmy and I are both super excited and nervous. Nursery is still being decorated and I feel like I still have so much to do.

Thank you so much for visiting!

I was so in love with off the shoulder pieces last Summer, I pretty much lived in off the shoulder tops and dresses all Summer long. I’m so glad to see this trend continues this year. I love the bohemian vibe and how effortlessly sexy you can look without revealing too much skin. The rust color of this dress is so much fun to wear. Can you believe it’s under $15? For reference, I’m wearing small. I’m definitely going to be adding more bright colors to my wardrobe this Summer.

I’m now 28 weeks into my pregnancy. I’ve about 12 more weeks to go. In case you missed it I announced the gender of our baby on my Instagram account. We’re having a BOY! We can’t wait to meet him. He has been so active lately. I think he’s doing martial arts. lol….

Thank you so much for visiting!
